In summary: Four Seasons Wailea runs one wedding a day, which is the single most useful thing to know about it. Fifteen published event spaces cover everything from a 20 person garden to a 6,930 square foot ballroom that seats 500 for dinner. The resort publishes no pricing at all, so every number you will see quoted for it comes from third parties.
The one thing that shapes everything else
The resort states its own approach plainly: one wedding a day ensures complete privacy. That policy is the reason to choose this venue and the reason dates disappear. There is exactly one Saturday in October, and somebody books it. If a specific date matters more than anything else, start here early or accept that you are choosing between the date and the venue.
It also means you are not sharing a lawn, a lobby or an elevator with another couple’s party. On a resort strip where three weddings a day is normal, that is a real difference and it is priced accordingly.
Ceremony sites, in the resort’s own words
- Plumeria Point, 1,831 square feet. The resort describes it as saying your vows beneath a natural canopy of plumeria trees overlooking the beach. It is the postcard site.
- Oceanfront Lawn, 5,200 square feet, seats 480. Views over Wailea Beach toward the Kahalawai mountains. This is the big one.
- Plumeria Garden, 1,500 square feet, seats 40. The intimate option that is still outdoors.
- Ali’i Lawn, 1,800 square feet, seats 72.
- Fountain-View Lawn, 3,100 square feet, seats 80, and Fountain-View Terrace, 944 square feet, seats 60.
One correction worth carrying into your planning. A widely syndicated third party listing gives ceremony capacity as 350 indoors and 250 outdoors. The resort’s own venue page publishes 500 for a banquet in the ballroom and 480 seated on the Oceanfront Lawn. Use the resort’s numbers.

All figures above are published by the resort. That range is the real selling point: the same property handles a two person elopement and a 500 seat dinner without you changing hotels.
What it costs
Four Seasons publishes nothing. No site fee, no food and beverage minimum, no per person rate, no package price appears anywhere on the resort’s wedding pages. Any figure you find online for this venue came from somewhere else.
The most commonly cited third party listing, Here Comes The Guide, publishes a ceremony package at $19,000 Monday through Thursday and $20,000 Friday through Sunday, elopements at $11,500, vow renewals at $10,500, catering from $300 per person and a 25 percent service charge. We are repeating those as third party figures, not as the resort’s rate, because the resort has not published them. Treat them as a planning order of magnitude and get a written quote.

Practical notes
- Book early. One wedding a day plus peak season from May to October means the good dates go 12 to 18 months out.
- Catering and alcohol are listed as in house by a third party listing. The resort does not state this on its own pages, so confirm it if bringing your own caterer matters to you.
- Amplified music carries restrictions per the same listing, with no detail published. Ask for the specific curfew in writing.
- Wailea Beach is a public state beach. A ceremony on the sand is a different legal situation from a ceremony on the resort lawn and needs a state permit. Our beach permit guide covers the rules.

We publish what the venue publishes and we say so when a number is missing. These are the gaps on this venue as of our last check, and each one is worth asking about on your first call:
- Any resort published price. Every dollar figure attached to this venue online is third party.
- Whether an outside wedding planner is permitted or whether the in house team is required.
- The specific amplified music curfew.
- Any minimum guest count.
- Whether outside caterers are allowed at all.

Where this fits on Maui
